Cemetery Tours

Perth Amboy-Friends For Preservation Of Middlesex County Jewish Cemeteries, a group of concerned citizens with roots in Middlesex County's Jewish community which has formed a non-profit corporation to restore and maintain the cemeteries currently owned by Congregation Shaarey Tefiloh in the Perth Amboy area, will offer tours of these facilities on Sunday, Nov. 19, beginning at noon at the Hebrew Fraternity Cemetery, New Brunswick Avenue, Hopelawn.

After a one-hour tour of that facility, the group will move-on to the Congregation Shaarey Tefiloh Cemetery, Florida Grove Road, Perth Amboy, for another one-hour tour.

The tours will be mostly-historical and informative, providing a history of these cemeteries and the community members interred therein.  Attendees also will have an opportunity to visit their relatives' graves.

Although the tours are FREE, advance-registration is recommended.
