After serving the Orthodox Jewish community of Perth Amboy for 108 years, Congregation Shaarey Tefiloh is closing its doors forever and hopefully will be selling its building soon. Many of the items from Shaarey Tefiloh's "Gift Store" and some of the stained glass items from the old shul were sold on Sunday, October 23.

Most furniture and items structurally attached to the building (e.g., stained glass windows) will remain to be sold with the building. A permanent home for the bronze memorial tablets is planned. The disposition of all items will follow Orthodox Halacha.

Torahs, silver Torah ornaments, and sanctuary contents have not been sold yet.

If you are interested in purchasing any items, please contact us to let us know --- select "Contact Us" on the left menu, and provide your name, contact information, and any specific items of interest to you.  (If you have already notified us of items of interest to you, you don't need to notify us again.) Payment for all of these items may be made only in cash. Transportation (and packaging) of all purchased items will be the responsibility of the buyer.

Plaques honoring specific individuals (for service to the synagogue) are being given --- at no charge --- to interested family members.
